Dr. Brett Gilbert graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School (DDS 2001, ENDO 2003). He is a professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is the founder of Access Endo, a global education platform, and the Access Endo Impact Academy. He was named a top ten young dental educator in America by the Seattle Study Club in 2017.
In 2019 he was named to Academic Keys Who’s in Dentistry Higher Education (WWDHE). In 2020, he won the People’s Choice Award as the Top Instructor of 2020 for Endodontics by Course Karma. Dr. Gilbert lectures nationally and internationally on clinical endodontics and wellness.
He is a partner in Specialized Dental Partners. Dr. Gilbert is a contributing consultant on Endodontics to Oral Health Journal. He has a private practice limited to Endodontics in Niles, IL.Â
Dr. Gilbert is a Next Level Trainings graduate of the Discovery and Breakthrough Emotional Intelligence Leadership Program and the Shift Emotional Intelligence Leadership Program. He is a co-founder of the Heal Thyself Emotional Intelligence Training Program for Clinicians. In 2020, Dr. Gilbert was voted Course Karma Peoples’ Choice runner-up award for Wellness Instruction.
